PCTAB sends the fire brigade routing card as an e-mail

For some fire brigades, fire managers and technical managers it makes sense to receive the fire brigade routing card in advance of fire-fighting measures. The visualization software PCTAB has such a feature.

In addition to the normal alarm for fire, disturbance and shutdown, combined with additional information for permanently manned sites, now the fire brigade routing card is available for the mission leader via e-mail traffic too. In this way immediately after the alarm necessary information is coming to the leaders of task forces or technical departments via modern media. In addition to the visualization program PCTAB there is only an installed e-mail program on the PC required. The fire brigade routing card is sent only when the alarm condition is "fire". The e-mail will contain all important information such as BMZ-No., detector group, detector and event. The fire brigade routing card in the form of a PDF can be activated as an appendix.

The routing card printing system - LDS3000

Have you to fulfill the requirement to provide frequently changing fire brigade routing cards to the task forces of the fire brigade or other assisting agencies? Then the routing card printing system is exactly the right solution. The routing card printing system provides a variable connection via the fire brigade periphery, high system availability and simple adaptations for changes in information.

The routing card printing system usually consists of FAT2002/FAT3000, the IMT4CPU, a PC and a printer. Here, the FAT has the task to provide the data from the FCP. The connected processor card IMT4CPU enables the connection to a PC and contains the adress data of every single message. The IFAM software PCTAB on the PC establishes the relationship between address data and existing fire brigade routing card and gives the printing command.

The connected color laser printer with duplex printing system enables the quick printing of the alarm information. The deposited fire brigade routing cards in pdf format are currently available to the operation leader. Optional the IMT4CPU could be connected straight to the FCP and the PC straight to the FAT.

The placement of the routing card printing system LDS3000 is preferably in a data case. Here the customer or installer is free to decide whether he offers the PC and the printer by himself or whether they are passed through, pre-configured and tested at IFAM.

Fire brigade information terminal FIT- The information system for complex buildings!

The fire brigade information terminal FIT is used to display security technology related building states for task forces of the fire briagde and technical personnel of the operator. Information about existing safety equipment and about possible activities for rescue and evacuation are made available to the squad leader of assisting agency via visualisation software. The FIT provides a centralized view of existing information or sources (fire brigade plan, fire brigade routing card, log book, occupancy plan, video surveillance, etc.) and links these optional via the serial connection to the fire alarm control panel and to the network of the operator.

Because of that current and relevant information for the operation could be made available. The FIT is an additional decision support with regard to security technological activities and provides a current level of knowledge, lowers costs by additional monitoring (eg preliminary reconnaissance of the operator) and uses existing structures, for example video surveillance or LAN. The FIT has no effect on BMZ or other equipment and systems. Preferably the FIT is placed at the main point of attack of the fire brigade in the FIBS or in the head quater of the operator.

The building information is based on the volume of the object and will be specified in consultation of the operator and the fire brigade based on a fire protection concept. Setting up the system is done with a PC program. Existing building informationen are stored, nonexistent deactivated. Querying the information is combined with appropriate sources of information (review plans / diagrams, text or photos), and dynamic imports are made possible through the network. Programming, commissioning and revision are realized by the operator or the maintenance company.
